BRUNSWICK COMMUNITY CONCERT ASSOCIATION VISITS NASHVILLE SHOWCASE 
 

Six board members of the Brunswick Community Concert Association recently attended showcases presented by Live-On-Stage in Ingram Hall at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. Attending the showcases were L-R: Bud Dorsey, President, Margie Dorsey, Sharon Jansen, Warren Jansen, Marian Stevens and Norman Stevens. 

They were among the 400 people representing some 100 Community Concert Associations from all over the country who viewed 24 live auditions, from which 5 or more will be selected to perform in Brunswick for the 2009-10 season. There will also be two Student Outreach concerts. 

Memberships are still available for the upcoming 2008-09 season. The six concerts are guitarist Pavlo on October 24, The Mantini Sisters January 15, harpist and vocalist Bronn & Katherine Journey February 20, Swiss Wind Quintet with pianist Michiko Otaki, March 20, Tommy Dorsey Orchestra April 2, Pianafiddle May 5, and the two Student Outreach concerts.
